1. General provisions

These Terms & Conditions (hereinafter "Terms") govern the mutual rights and obligations between the MazutoBox service operator and individuals or legal entities using Mazuto Box parcel lockers (hereinafter "user").

The Terms apply to every use of the parcel locker — including receiving, storing and collecting parcels. By depositing a parcel or collecting a parcel from the locker, the user confirms they have read and agreed to these Terms.

3. Use of the locker

Mazuto Box parcel lockers are intended solely for temporary storage and collection of parcels. The user must:

• use the locker only for its intended purpose and in compliance with applicable law,
• not place dangerous, flammable, explosive or illegal items into the locker,
• protect the access code or QR code from misuse by third parties,
• collect the parcel within the period specified by the operator or courier (generally within 48 hours of deposit),
• not interfere with or cause damage to the locker equipment.

The operator reserves the right to deny access to the locker if there is a suspicion of a breach of these Terms.

4. Liability

The operator is not liable for:

• damage or loss of a parcel caused by a third party (e.g. a courier),
• damage arising from misuse of an access code by the user or an unauthorised person,
• locker downtime caused by force majeure, power outage or network failure,
• expiry of the storage period and the resulting return of the parcel to the sender.

The user bears full responsibility for the contents of parcels placed in the locker. In the event of demonstrable damage to the locker caused by the user, the user is obliged to compensate the resulting damage in full.

5. Final provisions

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Any disputes arising from the use of the MazutoBox service shall be resolved by the parties preferably out of court. The court with jurisdiction at the operator's registered address shall have authority to decide disputes.

The operator is entitled to unilaterally amend these Terms. Amendments take effect on the date of their publication on the website MazutoBox.com. Continued use of the service after publication of amendments is considered acceptance of the new version of the Terms.

If any provision of these Terms proves to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force.
